Our prayer times are calculated using the University of Islamic Sciences, Karachi method which is officially approved in Pakistan. Times are adjusted for each city's geographical coordinates and follow announcements from the Pakistan Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee.
2. Can I get prayer times for cities other than Lahore?
Yes, we provide accurate prayer times for all major Pakistani cities including Karachi, Islamabad, Quetta, Peshawar, Faisalabad, Multan, Hyderabad, Gujranwala, and Rawalpindi. Visit our prayer timings section for specific cities.
3. Which Quran translation do you use?
We provide multiple authentic translations: Urdu translation by Maulana Fateh Muhammad Jalandhari, English translation by Yusuf Ali, and Sahih International English translation. Users can switch between translations according to their preference.
4. How is the Hijri date determined for Pakistan?
We follow the official Umm al-Qura calendar and adjust according to announcements from the Pakistan Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee. Our Islamic calendar is updated immediately after official moon sighting announcements.
5. Are the Hadith collections authentic?
All Hadith presented are from the Six Authentic Books (Kutub al-Sittah) and include proper references to their sources. Each Hadith is verified for authenticity and includes scholarly grading where available.
6. How often is the Islamic content updated?
Prayer times are updated daily, Quran and Hadith content is regularly reviewed and updated, and the Islamic calendar is updated monthly based on moon sightings. All content undergoes regular verification by Islamic scholars.
